Vistelar Group is a global speaking and training organization focused on addressing the spectrum of human conflict – from interpersonal discord, verbal abuse and bullying – to crisis communications, assault and physical violence.
Vistelar Group clients include all organizations where human conflict has a high prevalence, within business, healthcare, education, public safety and government. The types of organizations with which Vistelar Group has worked are listed at the right.
In addition, we train individuals from all walks of life interested in enhancing their personal safety, home security, interpersonal skills and self confidence, such as bullied children and abused women.
Our primary purpose is to keep people safe by teaching them how to prevent conflict from occurring, verbally de-escalate conflict if it occurs and physically defend themselves if attacked.

In addition to our private sector work, the Vistelar Group is a community partner within the Medical College of Wisconsin Youth Violence Prevention Initiative, an $8.2 grant-funded program to decrease rates of violence in the Milwaukee, WI area and strengthen Milwaukee’s capacity to prevent future violence. Our partnership group consists of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, Marquette University Center For Peacemaking, St. Charles Youth & Family Services, Casa Romero Renewal Center and Milwaukee Public Theatre.
The Vistelar Group provides it’s training via a national network of consultants and speakers, training partners in specific market segments and digital training programs (online courses, DVDs, webinars) using Performance-Driven Instruction™, a unique approach to training that emphasizes student interaction, real-world simulations, skill practice, memorable stories and physical activity.
Vistelar’s annual conference — Beyond Conflict 2013 – will be held on November 7-10, 2013 in Milwaukee, WI. This year’s conference will focus on “hows” of dealing with conflict in order to achieve emotional and physical safety in the volatile society in which we all live.
