PowerPhone and Vistelar Group have partnered to develop a training program for 9-1-1 operators titled Dispatch Judo: Verbal Defense & Influence for Emergency Communications. This two-day training program is based on the structured communication methodologies of Verbal Defense and Influence developed by Dr. George Thompson of the Verbal Judo Institute. The course will teach students to manage verbal resistance and de-escalate confrontation through the use of effective verbal interactions.
