Verbal abuse and bullying are some of the most serious issues facing society.
Verbal attacks can be personally devastating — often more so than any physcial attack. And, worse, when verbal attacks are not addressed and then esclate, they lead to more emotional impact and, in many cases, physical harm.
However, if you’re the victim of such attacks, it isn’t a societal issue — it’s personal. You are the person who is being emotionally and physically impacted and, in some cases, having your life destroyed.
If you’re like most victims of verbal abuse, harassment, or bullying, you’re looking for answers — and, as you’ve probably discovered, there is no shortage of “experts” who want to help.
The problem is that most of the folks are great at describing the problem and how serious it is. But, when it comes to offering advice, they don’t have much to offer — and the advice they do give is largely based on theories, not facts.
The reality is that we all know how serious the problem is and the last thing we need are a bunch of theories.
What’s needed are SOLUTIONS — practical and proven tactics YOU can use — RIGHT NOW — to make verbal abuse, bullying, and harassment stop.
In 2009, to address the global problems of verbal abuse and bullying, we developed a partnership with Dr. George Thompson to take his research over the last 27 years with professionals (e.g. police, corrections) and apply it to people’s personal lives.
Dr. George Thompson formed an institute in 1983 to study how to prevent and de-escalate conflict. Between then and his death in 2011, he wrote four books (with over 300,000 copies sold) and trained more than 1 million professionals on his communication methodologies.
Dr. Thompson’s methodologies are now being taught to the general public throughout the world and have impacted the lives of tens of thousands of individuals.
