Hello there. Ed Holpfer here with an update from the Vistelar world.

I’m a big fan of blues music and a common theme among a lot of great blues songs is that trains are often used as metaphors for momentum, power and creating or bridging distance. That symbolic imagery can be used to describe the momentum, power and distance that we are achieving. Especially lately.

New faces

We’re stoking the fire and throwing more coal into our locomotive with the help of two new faces around the office.

Last week we welcomed our new intern Will, who has already demonstrated his ability to quickly adapt and and help us get more done. With Will picking up some of the odd jobs around the office, it has freed up time for others to focus more intently on customer service, product development and marketing efforts.

Then this past Monday, we said hello to Collin. He is another full-time tech guru who’s focus will be on creating an effective and user friendly e-learning program. Our new focus on e-learning has a lot of potential for making our programs more accessible to people across the country and around the world. Be sure to stay tuned for more information on that in the future.

Learning and growing

To continue the roll we’ve been on, we got a lot of use out of our first Scalerator program last week and are looking forward to the second section beginning tomorrow.

Last, but certainly not least is the Beyond Conflict 2013 national conference that is fast approaching. Beyond Conflict 2013 is being held November 7th – 10th in Brookfield, WI and is the must-attend event for anyone who deals with conflict in their work or home life.

Previously accessible only to Vistelar partners, we are opening up Beyond Conflict 2013 to the general public for the first time to allow anyone the ability to access the vast resource of knowledge that has been pooled for this event. Here are just a few of the presenters:

  • Author and speaker Jack Hoban trains U.S. Marines and Wall Street executives on how to put their morals into action and rise to the role of Ethical Protector. He’ll explain how — and why  — this is a necessary skill for our time.

  • Vistelar consultant and relationship expert Peter Harrell, Jr. will help you get some perspective and become more effective with his presentation on gender, culture and communication.

  • Peter Jaskulski and Andrew Garrison will help you in your pursuit of organizational excellence. Proactive change requires a healthy dose of tenacity; it is a forward-thinking attempt to improve customer service and they are here to help.

  • Nationally recognized police trainer and former Marine Dave Young will share his vast real-world experience in how you can protect your loved ones from harm while working within the framework of the law.

Climb aboard

If you would like to attend Beyond Conflict 2013 or want to know more about our other programs, you can always drop us a line at info@vistelar.com.

We’re continuing to build steam and roll on down the line in ways we think you’ll really enjoy but we’re always looking for ways to improve. So we’re asking for your input.

What would you like to see us offer in the future? How else can we help with your training and marketing needs?
