Conflict Management for Contact Professionals – Train-the-Trainer

This four to five-day Instructor School is for individuals who will return to train Vistelar conflict management (non-escalation/de-escalation/crisis interventions/proxemics) training program within their organization. The methodologies taught include how to: provide better customer service, predict, prevent and mitigate conflict, avert verbal and physical attacks, de-escalate resistance, anger and abuse, and control crisis and aggression.


Principles of Stabilization and Control (P.O.S.C.) – Train-the-Trainer

This course is designed to equip professionals who work in situations where there is a risk of physical resistance or violence as part of their job, with an emphasis on team-response methods. P.O.S.C. is a multi-level program that teaches intervention tactics for situations where an individual is acting out and physical intervention cannot be avoided, while meshing verbal skills with physical tactics.


Conflict Management for Contact Professionals

This end-user program is ideal for professionals in healthcare, security, education, public safety, transit, social services, retail, hospitality and customer service. By taking this course, participants will become practitioners in Vistelar conflict management (non-escalation/de-escalation/crisis interventions/proxemics) training program and be able to incorporate the skills learned into their everyday job functions.

Conflict Management for Organizational Teams

This course is for anyone within an organization who would benefit from knowing how to better manage conflict between departments, among team members and between supervisors and employees (e.g., management, supervisors, team members) — to improve employee performance and/or reduce the likelihood of workplace violence. Attendees will become practitioners of Vistelar’s conflict management methodologies with an emphasis on internal versus external (i.e., with customers) communications. Improve the psychological safety within your team and, as a result, improve their performance, morale, and ability to collaborate.

Principles of Stabilization and Control (P.O.S.C.) II

This course is provides training only for public safety professionals (e.g. private security, law enforcement), who are at the highest risk of engaging in physical contact with individuals that pose a threat of violence to themselves or others. Attendees will learn intrusive tactics including defensive tactics, physical restraints, de-centralizations and focused strikes
